Since I don't have a lot of money to spend right now, what are some good christmas gifts?
anything to make, buy exc.
Get a Thesaurus (from the library or borrow from a friend if no $).
Think about your favorite traits that make that friend or family member so dear to you. Then, using the Thesaurus, use words that fit their name & make an acrostic card that can be framed.for example: Ginny

Never tired of listening & caring

Not as well thought out as I would do for real, but you get the idea.
Add some cut out small graphics from an old calendar,magazine, etc glue-stick them on, & put it into a one dollar frame from the $1.00 Store.
You can get clippers or scissors and go into the woods to cut pine cones. Then use little bows, ornaments, ribbons from the $1.00 Store & make wreaths for all your friends to put on the door or inside, they will really enjoy them.
Giving of your time to someone is the most precious gift.
Make your own vouchers eg. Manicure, Massage, Baby-Sitting, etc so that they can redeem that at any time.
Give them baked cookies and homemade Christmas cards. Make your own Christmas card and staple of bag of homemade cookies so the inside of the card. It shows them that you care by making things from hand. You can make coupon books that have coupons like "Good for one home-cooked dinner", "Good for one hour of house-cleaning" "Good for one car wash" etc.
Make a memory scrapbook with pictures of you and the gift recipient.
You can also make a homemade Christmas card or you can print Christmas cards off of the internet.
